About Us

Did you know that about 4 million dogs enter shelters each year just in the USA alone? And that almost 50% of them get killed because they can’t find a new home in time? In fact, over 5000 shelter animals are killed in the US every single day! Most of those animals are healthy and would have lived a long happy life, if not for what happened to them. And it’s not just strays and “street dogs”. Every fourth dog of those ending up in shelters and killed is purebred!

The no-kill rescues are organizations ran by volunteers that pull limited resources to help save animals that would otherwise be killed in regular shelters. Many even bring doomed animals from overseas to rehabilitate and find new homes for. The amount of work and dedication that goes into rescuing dogs is immeasurable, as is the amount of love for the dogs.

We created this website to: 1) help the thousands of dogs out there, and 2) help the people and organizations that help them. Many rescues out there need our help! This includes more adopters of their dogs, as well as donations, volunteering, fostering, and much more.

On our website, you can find a shelter to adopt a dog from. You can also help a rescue organization out! Fostering a dog is a great opportunity to learn more about dogs in general and your chosen breed in particular. You can also donate to your local shelter or help out as a volunteer. Ultimately, anything you can do will help more and more dogs and that’s the goal we should all strive for.
